Agreement

These Terms of Service govern use of the Retena public website and gated product beta unless a signed customer agreement says otherwise.

By requesting access, using a beta workspace, or allowing users to access Retena, you agree that you are authorized to act for your organization and to follow these terms.

Beta access

Retena v3 is currently offered as a focused beta. Features may change, be paused, or be limited while we improve reliability, security, privacy, and product fit.

We may accept, decline, suspend, or revoke beta access to protect users, comply with platform rules, or keep the service stable.

Customer responsibilities

  • Only connect conversations, groups, users, files, and accounts you are authorized to connect.
  • Give all required notices and obtain all required consents from employees, contractors, guests, clients, and other participants before using Retena with their communications.
  • Comply with WhatsApp, Meta, messaging-provider, privacy, employment, consumer-protection, and industry-specific rules that apply to your use.
  • Keep workspace invitations, credentials, devices, and administrator access secure.
  • Review AI outputs, transcripts, summaries, and action lists before relying on them.

Customer content

Your organization retains ownership of customer content. You grant Retena the limited rights needed to host, process, transmit, transcribe, summarize, search, secure, troubleshoot, and support the service.

You are responsible for the legality, accuracy, permissions, and retention obligations related to customer content you provide or connect.

AI outputs and source review

AI outputs, transcripts, summaries, search results, and action suggestions may be incomplete, delayed, or wrong. Retena is designed to provide source context where available, but sources must still be reviewed before important decisions.

Do not use Retena as the sole basis for emergency, legal, medical, financial, employment, housing, insurance, credit, safety-critical, or other regulated eligibility decisions.

Acceptable use

You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. You may not use Retena to violate law, invade privacy, spam, abuse messaging platforms, bypass security, process prohibited data, or harm people, businesses, or systems.

Third-party services

Retena relies on third-party services such as hosting, DNS/security, messaging infrastructure, databases, AI/transcription providers, email providers, and payment providers where enabled. Those services may be governed by their own terms.

WhatsApp and Meta are third-party platforms. Customer use of WhatsApp-connected features must comply with the applicable WhatsApp Business terms and policies.

Fees

Public prices are indicative beta starting points in USD and exclude applicable taxes, WhatsApp or Meta messaging fees, and other provider pass-through fees where applicable.

There is no public payment flow on this site. Final plan, invoice, tax, cancellation, refund, usage, and overage terms are confirmed in the applicable order form or signed customer agreement before billing.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access if use creates security, legal, platform-policy, abuse, payment, or reliability risk. You may request workspace closure or export/deletion according to the applicable agreement and retention rules.

Disclaimers and limits

The website and beta service are provided as available. To the extent permitted by law, Retena disclaims warranties that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for every regulated use case.

Paid or enterprise use may include additional customer-specific terms, such as liability limits, governing law, dispute procedures, and other order-form details.
