What does Retena do?
Retena turns WhatsApp chats and voice notes into source-backed answers, daily briefs, and action lists so operators can recover decisions, promises, and follow-ups without scrolling through message history.
Does Retena replace WhatsApp?
No. Retena is a memory and operations layer for teams that already coordinate in WhatsApp. The goal is to make the work already said in chat searchable, summarized, and easier to act on.
What data does Retena need?
For the product beta, Retena may process connected chat content, voice notes, message metadata, workspace settings, user/account details, and support or security logs needed to provide the service. The public v3 site itself only uses a mailto request-access link and does not intentionally add analytics or advertising cookies.
Are AI answers always correct?
No. AI answers and transcripts can be incomplete or wrong. Retena is designed to show source context where available so teams can verify the original message before making important decisions.
Do you use customer messages to train AI models?
Retena does not sell customer content or use it for advertising. Customer content is processed to provide requested features, and any model-provider processing is handled under the applicable provider and customer agreements. Opt-in training or benchmarking would require separate permission.
Who should tell workers, guests, contractors, or clients?
The customer controls the WhatsApp groups and business relationships, so the customer is responsible for giving required notices and obtaining required permissions before connecting conversations or importing content into Retena.
Can Retena handle regulated or high-risk decisions?
Retena is built for operational memory, not emergency response, legal advice, medical care, credit, housing, employment, insurance, or other regulated eligibility decisions. Those uses need separate review and written approval.
